Dynamic FM, the global standard in FM technology, is now available in three new transmitters for adults and teenagers: SmartLink+, ZoomLink+ and EasyLink+. The new transmitters allow users to better identify target speech across a range of situations, whether on the phone, with friends and family or in combination with multimedia devices. Innovative technologies allow for an enhanced sound experience: ‘Adaptive FM Advantage’ (AFMA) adjusts the output of the listening FM receiver relative to the ambient noise, SoftLanding technology ensures that the listener doesn’t hear an annoying bang when the transmitter is placed down on a hard surface.

This sleek, easy-to-use Dynamic FM transmitter is the premium wireless microphone.

Designed for users who demand the very best, SmartLink+ offers exclusive high-end features including Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free phone use, Bluetooth A2DP support for wireless MP3 player synchronization, and a Phonak hearing instrument remote control.

ZoomLink+

This versatile Dynamic FM transmitter offers better hearing and understanding across a range of situations. It features three distinct microphone settings for full listening flexibility: SuperZoom (an adaptive beam that suppresses multiple noise sources), Zoom (a fixed beam for precise audio pick-up), and an ‘all-around’ Omni-directional setting.

EasyLink+

Ultra-simple to use and therefore suitable for users of every age, EasyLink+ is a one-button Dynamic FM microphone with a fixed microphone setting.

SmartLink+, ZoomLink+ and EasyLink+ are designed for use with Phonak Dynamic FM receivers such as the miniaturized MicroLink receivers ML9i, ML10i, ML11i, ML12i and iSense. They are also fully backward-compatible with previous-generation FM receivers.

SmartLink+, ZoomLink+ and EasyLink+ will be commercially available in August 2009.

Everybody speaks, everybody hears with DynaMic

With DynaMic, Phonak introduces a child-proof Dynamic FM hand-held microphone for classrooms that use the inspiro Dynamic FM transmitter and the MultiTalker Network (MTN). DynaMic expands the functionality of inspiro and the MultiTalker Network by allowing FM receiver wearers to hear up to 10 speakers using the microphone – the result being that everyone in the class can be heard perfectly by everyone. This way, no child is left out of classroom conversations.

DynaMic employs the same acoustics, electronics, software and digital signal processing technology as Phonak’s leading inspiro transmitter. In addition, DynaMic is child-proof. The product’s simple, effective design features an On/Off/Mute switch and a low-battery warning LED. DynaMic measures 8.5 inches (21cm) in length, with a 6-inch (15cm) antenna, and weighs just 3.8oz (110g). Each DynaMic is supplied with a sturdy accompanying desk stand.

DynaMic will be commercially available in mid-June 2009.
